It's funny because, regardless of whether one loves, hates, or is completely apathetic about Israel, a failed state it certainly isn't.
Depends what you mean by a failed state. They won't be appearing at the Eurovision soon by the looks of things. Nor might they be allowed to compete for the World Cup nor any sports competition. But that's not failed state status. The Wikipedia definition is as follows:
A failed state is a state that has lost its ability to fulfill fundamental security and development functions, lacking effective control over its territory and borders.
Seeing as the IDF effectively has controlled the West Bank and Gaza since 1967, and they're always at war with Lebanon for decades and are now expanding into Syria, or letting settlers take pieces of the West Bank acre by acre, it doesn't sound like they have much control or stability over where their border is. Israel has always refused to define their own borders, like a failed statelet that doesn't know when to stop or start. They used to have settlements in Gaza until 2006. Then they demolished them. Now they want them back. The wee failed statelet doesn't effectively control their own borders because they won't even say where they are.
Then October 7th happened and the IDF were asleep for over 6 hours for some reason and Hamas were let run riot and carry out numerous atrocities, so there's the lack of security part. They never bother developing Gaza or the West Bank either with their Apartheid regime. These Zionists seem fairly intent on maintaining a wee failed statelet anyway.
