Finally and long overdue. Now get it built. And also why Metrolink? Why not Metro? Also this nugget stands out………

"

Once construction starts MetroLink will be the largest infrastructure project in the State with building work expected to continue for up to eight years. However, the commission’s decision could be subject to legal challenges, and must secure final Cabinet approval, before construction can begin."

So we might well be waiting for longer than 8 years.

State's largest ever infrastructure project is highly to get built on time and on budget. And it "could be subject to legal challenges"?! I'd say that is inevitable. It will be closer to 20 years than 8!

I hope not. It's badly needed. If properly designed it should be ironclad from legal challenge.

:D . First proposed a quarter century ago, we’ll be flying around like the Jetsons before it gets built.
