Hi all, since twitter became x the links are playing silly buggers. If you're posting links from x.com/twitter please edit them to replace the x with twitter so they embed.
eg x.com displays as this:
https://x.com/TheChrisD/status/1966116688002195534
whereas the same link replacing the x.com with twitter.com displays like this:
A bit tedious I know, but helpful for the posts you're making here if people can see the tweet and respond without the step of clicking through.

Re: X.com / twitter links
I try to do this all the time. Another one that is annoying is when quoting another poster but the media also gets quoted, is there a way to remove it automatically when you quote people or would we have to just go in and manually remove it everytime(pictures/videos/twitter links).Guburnor wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 9:44 pm Hi all, since twitter became x the links are playing silly buggers. If I had included those tweets in your quote it just is very annoying and floods the page.
Re: X.com / twitter links
yep that's tedious too. There is a plugin that will strip it but I am trying to keepin plugins installed to minimum for now, will look into see if there is a solution that can be added to codeknownunknown wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 9:54 pm I try to do this all the time. Just looking at those posts, there is no getting away from it, that lad and his minions have absolutely destroyed that platform.
