After a years long investigation google finally revealed what we already knew, Biden’s admin put pressure on YouTube to ban accounts relating to Covid, election interference and the hunter Biden story.

I wonder would those creators have standing though to take a case now that google has admitted wrong.
Apparently they are going to bring in a community notes type of fact checking led by the community ala twitter/x. I think this is a good compromise so that there aren’t outside politicized fact checkers telling us what the truth is.

Google has vowed to reinstate YouTube accounts that were banned under pressure from the Biden administration for COVID-19, election-related content, and other reasons. I’m sure some people had been negatively impacted from having their accounts banned, or removed from Google's searches.
