The Labour Party

Post by Statsman »

With Alan Kelly declaring that he plans to vote for Heather Humphreys and not Catherine Connolly and Brendan Howlin 'accidently' bumping into HH on the stump over the weekend, it seems that Labour are in, to say the least, disarray over the Presidential election. I mean, how many former leaders does it take to form a coup?

And what does Ivana Bacik do? She can't really do anything about Howlin, but does Kelly have to lose the whip? Can she afford to lose a TD? I can't see anyone else holding the Tipp seat for Labour, so it's a bit of a rock and a hard place for her.
