I couldn't listen to his 1 hour radio show.
The first 20 minutes of his review of the paper was the worst. At least the second part had a guest so you only had to listen to him half the time and the money he was on.

Virgin Radio listener figures have been trending negative since January 2024.
With listeners and hours trending negative, it doesn't appear that adding Ryan Tubridy to it's weekday presenter lineup has proved to be successful.

Not too convinced by the Callan chap, fallen into the same patter.
Anna Geary is on recently - she's a keeper, nice manner, accent and a lovely sexy voice. What's not to like.

Iirc he got a job in the UK,on alot less money,so it was kinda hushed up here,so people wouldn't question why the state was paying presenters here so much

Q102's reach has decreased from 197,000 listeners for 2024 JNLR -2 to 170,000 listeners for 2025 JNLR -2.
Virgin Radio UK listeners have declined -15.5% from the same RAJAR data point taken last year.
The data does not indicate that the addition of Ryan Tubridy and Kathryn Thomas to Q102 or the Ryan Tubridy Show simulcast on Virgin Radio has increased both radio station's popularity or has yielded successfully.
