FF and FG should merge?
Given that it's 100 years since the Civil War isn't it time that the two parties buried their differences - whatever they actually are - and formed a single entity capable of meeting the SF challenge. To me, the two parties are indistinguishable in their policies and their ongoing separation makes no sense and provides a weak bulwark against the Shinners. Opinions?

To be fair, there's a bit of a difference in their traditional support base and policies favouring certain demographics. FF are a bit more "rural small farmer" while FG are a bit more "large farmer & business man"
