This topic just keeps boiling back to the surface, the apparent evils of social media. That people can spread gossip, some of which may be ill founded and other times, closer to the bone.

Jim Gavin calling foul today and writing 'strong letters' to Zuckerberg and Musk and maybe even this site. I've no idea if what has been mooted is true or not. But rather than just accept an assertion of 'nothing to see here', I think I'll keep an open mind. Isn't that wise and judicious?

If you throw enough shit, some of it is bound to stick. That's what worries these people; some dogs will find a bone and keep worrying until it splits and lets out the juicy bits.
Being offended doesn't automatically mean you are right.

I have no idea if the allegations about Gavin are true. But my gut tells me probably not. But some of them are not new and have being doing the rounds for a while. However at the time Gavin's profile was much lower, so they only garnered attention within GAA circles. Now that Gavin has entered the public eye he's fast finding out that he's playing senior Hurling now.
