This is not the far right.

These are thugs. They are attacking a Garda for recreation. I wouldn't be a Garda for any money.

What I find really sinister is that the government's promised response is really a cover for shutting down all political dissent and will have zero effect on this lawlessness. They actually don't care about this - what they want is to shut up anyone who disagrees with them. It's totalitarian.

Meanwhile these rotten fcks will destroy our cities and towns.


I think talking about riots on the thread about the little children who were stabbed is not fair on them - they need to be thought about in a different way and place than the cretins causing mayhem.

Thinking out loud, and trying to be occasionally less wrong...

There's no correlation between the two events. A lot of people in government and the media are in denial about the state that the country has drifted into.
