Surrender is ending combat mission
Evacuation is going to POW camp
So in 1945 Hitlers forces ended combat missions and where evacuated to Gulag, is it any wonder journalists are not respected anymore?

It does seem to be fake news, or at least corrupted news. No surprise from the New York Times.

All the fighters have been moved to Russian controlled regions after surrendering, the azoz, but apparently there are 2,200 civilians down in those tunnels of the steel factory which are designed to withstand a nuclear blast. Apparently these are the people to be evacuated in exchange for prisoners of war held by Kiev, at least according to Russian media. There was a tweet about these civilians from a Ukraine official last month numbering them in the hundreds.



Apparently the Russian parliament will be voting to ban exchange of azoz pows. These guys although particularly fierce are self described nazis.

Are the NYT reporting it as fact or are they merely reporting what Ukraine is claiming? Both the tweet and the news report says "Ukraine says..." and they have "combat mission" in quotes to clearly show they are someone else's words. What exactly is fake in what the NYT have reported?

The fighters aren’t being evacuated. They are under Russian control. That is clearly incorrect.

The term "evacuation" would suggest these Russian prisoner of war camps are safe spaces for Ukrainian soldiers, given the Cambridge dictionary definition of "evacuation": the act of moving people from a dangerous place to somewhere safe

However the Al Jazeera article suggests otherwise, quoting Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the State Duma:

“They are war criminals and we must do everything to bring them to justice,” he said.

The Duma website said he had asked the defence and security committees to prepare an instruction to that effect.

Legislator Leonid Slutsky, one of Russia’s negotiators in stalled peace talks with Ukraine, called the evacuated combatants “animals in human form” and said they should receive the death penalty.

In 2018 it was Ro Khanna, democratic congressman from California, who succeeded in getting a stipulation attached to the Ukraine aid money that specifically barred these ‘azov nazis’ from receiving any funding or arms. It was the Iberian elite that were pushing this narrative circa 2017. They were scouring the globe for nazis on their crusade for justice etc.. etc… (NYT article, USA today, Washington post etc..)

In 2020 it was the New York Times had an article authored by an FBI special agents to say that some of the people involved in Charlottesville were trained by these ‘azov neo nazis’. Those tiki torch carrying white supremacists.

The above article makes a compelling argument, it’s hard to ignore their heroic actions, especially now that they are in grave danger of being treated outside of international norms. Who put them in this danger and labelled them as neo nazis incessantly?
