The men have been named locally as Daniel Duffy (88) and his son, Damien (50). This comes after the Kanturk murders in October 2020 arising from a family dispute over land and the North Kerry murders in September this year where the father shot his wife and son dead but we’re not allowed to discuss that case for a reason I haven’t been told. Is this becoming a trend in rural Ireland? You’re more likely to die at the hands of a family member jealous over land rather than a stranger.

Tis fair sad it happened alright. Pity Mr suicide didn't just kill himself and leave the other fella live , dunno what made him do it though so I presume there was some reason to make him be a dick and murder someone.
