Afghanistan: Nobody Gives a &*%$?
Does anyone else think this situation is getting amazingly light touch coverage from all sides in social and MSM media? Barely a mention. The Taliban are pouring back into the cities now, we'll be talking about the fall of Kabul soon, this is a major historic defeat of a superpower/NATO and barely a peep about it from the right or the left. All the trillions wasted and thousands of dead, it just strikes me as so odd.

The Yanks made the same mistake that they made in Vietnam. They conquered territory. They didn't try to liberate people's hearts and minds. If they won Afghan hearts and minds, the Taliban wouldn't be able to get the support (active or passive) of Afghan people.
