He done good for Everton and Burnley, be interesting to see what he can do here.
West Ham were truly rotten last night, could see them going down.

That passed the time.

I thought he kept us up tbh. The shitshow that was the Benitez & Lampard years nearly cost our spot in the PL.

Slot's been found out. Won a title with Klopp's team and bought badly during the summer and can't set up a team to save his life.
Wouldn't be surprised if Jurgen is back by the start of next season tbh.

Bournemouth and Sunderland top three and it's almost November. Iraola might be one to to watch out for.

As an Arsenal fan dare I say I'm cautiously optimistic.
Liverpool and City not showing much consistency.
I do worry about an over reliance on set pieces to score our goals but our defence is solid so while we may not score much we shouldn't be conceding either.

Exactly my thought process too.Clanrickard wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 4:52 pm As a gooner I am extremely worried that I am optimistic.
I don't let myself get excited as the years of hurt have ingrained pessimism into my soul.
It's the business side of the season that this team struggles with mentally, injuries can be are undoing too.
Has to be this year

Re: General Premier League Discussion
A wobble for Arsenal would probably mean a run of no score draws. Defensively they are water tight but up front it can be a bit huff and puff at times.
There's also no obvious threat to them. City are still in a rebuild and nothing like the imperious teams of '23 and '24 while Liverpool look an absolute shambles. It really is now or never for Arteta.
Heh, maybe Bournemouth pull off a Leicester?

0-3 v Spurs, awful result but not such a desperate performance, could have been 2-2.

Re: General Premier League Discussion
You can't win a title without a solid defence, City and Liverpool don't have it so it's Arsenal's to lose now. Don't think they are particularly good to watch and i do worry about the game in general now as regards the premier league it's turning into the NFL with all the set pieces. This season the overall standard has dropped considerably as more team set up for free kicks, thrown in's and corners.

The combination of Simon’s/kudus’ deliveries and Van Der Ven’s presence is proving a real threat. Ye were unlucky not to go 1-1, were it not for wrestling with Vicario I don’t see him saving that disallowed goal. At 1-1 it’s a different game.Socthesecond wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 7:08 pm 0-3 v Spurs, awful result but not such a desperate performance, could have been 2-2.

Pawson is a disgrace.
The goal was rightly disallowed as their was a Everton player in an offside position when the ball was headed and interferd with the keeper,
