It might be time to add a signature, just to be on the safe side.

We don't call them signatures here - we call them Life Assurance Policies.

I get the ones that say “we’ve control of your computer, send us 1800 bitcoin or we release the video of you watching the internet”.

That would be the most boring video ever lol!!!!

Can someone explain why scammers (from Africa at least), intentionally add spelling mistakes to their emails? I would have thought that the number one rule to being a scammer is coming across as well spoken, knowledgable, and literate so that people would be more likely to fall for it.

Come on now admit it, some of you were doing some dodgy stuff on the net that your email addresses are in the hands of these dudes.

All I get is emails from US Senators and congressmen (yep real ones) and the nursing roster for a hospital in Australia.
So much for GDPR.

Another crude attempt this morning but I suppose they wouldn't continue if they weren't catching a few idiots every time they send out one of these. Note the 'very' authentic email address used by the freight forwarder.

Another on the courier package theme - very popular at this time of year and of the type that easily catches the busy or tired recipient.

BTW does anyone know how much flights with two day turnaround to Oz cost.

I got an invite to the old hospital Christmas party.

Only thing is they are starting in the afternoon.

Either they are heavy on the drinking or a miserable shower that organised a lunch and expects everyone to go back to work afterwards.

Another really crude effort in my Spam folder this morning - so clever, in the scammers opinion, that it was sent four times during the night.

The number of scam emails seems to have slightly reduced recently - at least for me - but the tried and presumably successful old ones keep coming. At this stage anybody dopey enough to fall for these deserves what they get.
